秦万石（秦沛 饰）是美味园餐厅的老板，他自参加厨神比赛输给好友金一山（欧阳震华 饰），受不了失败的打击便销声匿迹了。餐厅由妻子圆圆（沈殿霞 饰）与女儿苏苏（关咏荷 饰）艰难经营，她们都相信万石会有归来的一天。　　但苏苏的手艺不佳，所有客人都转去隔壁的皇室玫瑰餐厅。为了能继续保留美味园，圆圆只好把大部分股权出售，但没想到购买的是化名田味吉的金一山。蒙在鼓里的圆圆与苏苏看着味吉如何将美味园重新整顿，另一方面味吉还要教会苏苏应该懂得的烹饪方法，但苏苏对他十分不满意，更与他处处相对，两人成为了斗气冤家。更复杂的是一直喜欢一山的梁爽爽（宣萱 饰）误以为苏苏对一山有意思，三人开始纠缠……　　皇室玫瑰餐厅的大厨乔柏高（古天乐 饰）多年来不断寻找厨神的踪迹就是为了与厨神一决高下，竟被记者夏津津（张可颐 饰）误以为柏高就是厨神，两人日久的相处令他们爱上了对方。　　美味园的生...
