中学教师洪洁嬣﹝赵雅芝饰﹞与当差男友章志辉﹝冯淬帆饰﹞时常因学生问题争吵，洁嬣之学生良莠不齐，其中一女学生克爽被其兄克基迫良为娼。克爽不肯，避到好友王晓兰家中。美国华埠牡丹花皇后蓝雪儿﹝庄静而饰﹞来港投靠亲戚邱长根，无意发现藏宝一事，而晓兰之祖父王杰正被华埠派来之人追问黄金下落，众人均以为是他吞没黄金。江户俊雄﹝吕良伟饰﹞因债务缠身，在日本无法立足，却偶然在祖父遗物中发现藏宝地图，半信半疑下往香港寻宝。他来港后到处侦查，结识了洁嬣等人，得知他们与藏宝有关，遂千方百计抢夺藏宝图，引来一连串紧张刺激之争夺战。　　原来俊雄之祖父江户茂﹝吕良伟分饰﹞在中日战争中，得到一批黄金。此批黄金是美国华侨捐集供救国之用，交由地下工作者王杰负责运送回国。至香港时，刚巧香港沦陷，黄金落入江户茂手中。不久，日军战败，江户茂被追杀，得村民邱长根及何乃光所救，江户茂大难不死，愿将...
